TEAM GETAWAY 🌳🍸🎶🔥
We LOVE the bar environment. Loud music, party people, a packed venue and being part of your nights out. The Nook is a very special place to us.
But once a year, we swap the bar for the countryside. And boy did we score the weather this year 😍☀️
No dance floor. No cocktails to make. No 5am finishes (Well, we did see the sun come
Up) Just fresh air, campfires, stars, music, questionable sporting ability and each other.
This year we headed toRiver Dart Country ParkpCRS Adventures Ltdd in Devon for our annual Nook team getaway. We went go-karting, took on the high ropes, walked tightropes, larked around with a football (and subsequently lost said football on the other side of the river), built a fire, drank some booze and spent the night taking turns choosing the music and stoking the flames.
And that’s really the best bit.
Sitting around a campfire. Talking. Laughing. Listening to music. Looking up at the stars. Choosing to spend time together away from the place that brought us all together in the first place.
We spend a LOT of time together at The Nook — usually surrounded by noise, people and beautiful chaos — so there’s always something pretty special about getting away somewhere quiet and just enjoying each other’s company.
Thankyou to Team Nook. A special venue requires a very special bunch of people to make it what it is. No doubt.
