Hi folks,
Unfortunately this Friday (14th) we will be unable to open at The Cheeky Tipple St. Thomas street.
We’re severely understaffed right now and due to high demand at our bar at Bowleaze Cove the decision has been made to prioritise this bar.
While we could still open, I’ve made this decision to ensure my staff don’t burn out by doing 6/7 day work weeks.
Never in 5 years of the cheeky tipple has the job market been so difficult to hire in. We’ve organised so many job interviews and been stood up on countless occasions over the last 6 months. We’ve already turned down 16 events this year due to lack of staff.
We’ve already had to drop Thursdays and Sunday nights this summer aswell as daytime coffee, so I hope for the sake of hospitality in general and our loyal customers this isn’t the case next season as we will either have to consider closing the bar or drastically changing the business model.

We’ll be back for the usual shenanigans on Saturday night 😍
