owing partner dance in the UK. The dance is easy to learn and although you dance with partners, alot of people come on their own. At every CEROC night without fail there will be a good number of complete beginners. Therefore we hold a 45 minute class where you will learn 3 or 4 of the basic moves. After which you will be able to practice the routine. Learning to dance with CEROC is very easy, there's no complicated footwork to worry about. After just 45 minutes you will have a routine of 3 or 4 moves that you will be able to dance in the freestyle. One of the great things about Ceroc is there's no need to come with a partner. Our teaching method means everyone changes partners. So come and join the other scores of new people coming to Ceroc for the first time every week. Learning to dance with CEROC is a great way to keep fit, socialise and enjoy a complete night out.

🙏✨ Thank You to Those Who Joined Us at Barnham Last Night ✨🙏

A big thank you to everyone who came along to Barnham Village Hall last night. We know it was a very warm evening and, with lots going on at this time of year, attendance was a little lower than usual, so we really appreciate those of you who made the effort to come and support the event. 💃🕺

The extra fans we brought along did a great job of helping to keep the hall cool, making for a much more comfortable evening of dancing.

It was also fantastic to hear your feedback on the SILC class. We're so pleased that those who took part enjoyed it and found it a valuable addition to the evening.

Thank you for your support, your enthusiasm, and for helping create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We hope you had a great time, and we look forward to our next Barnham freestyle on Friday 25th September but before then we have our Vortex 2 room freestyle at The New Bury Centre, Bury St. Edmunds, on Saturday 15th August.. 🎶✨

The evening begins with an approximately 45-minute introduction to the increasingly popular SILC syllabus.

SILC is a smooth, musicality-focused partner dance style developed in the UK as an evolution of Modern Jive (Ceroc). The acronym stands for Smooth Moves, Improvised Leading and Connection, placing emphasis on flow, connection, musical interpretation and effortless movement between partners.

Following the class, enjoy upbeat music in the main room until 10.45pm, before we finish the evening with 45 minutes of slower-tempo music, perfect for practising your SILC, Blues and Smooth moves.
