✨ A Little Announcement From Us…

After much consideration, we’ve made the decision to sell Lapis Cafe/Bar, with Saturday 30th May being our final day before handing over to the new owners.

We just want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us since February — every coffee, drink, brunch date and friendly face has meant the world to us ❤️ We’ve met some truly fabulous people along the way.

This isn’t goodbye though… you’ll still find us over at Springfield Hall! Make sure to follow our Springfield Hall social pages and keep an eye on the website for upcoming events, special nights and of course our very popular weekly Sunday Carvery 👀🍽️

Let’s make these final two weeks at Lapis one to remember — pop in for a coffee & cake deal, one of our focaccia sandwiches… and we couldn’t leave without mentioning those ultimate filled croissants! ☕🥐🍳

We wanted to let our lovely followers know that we will be closed week commencing 11th May as our team takes part in a very special charity walk. ❤️ We will be joined by some of our wider team members from The Frustrated Chef & Lapis Lounge. 🥰

Many of you will know Luke, who works both in our kitchen and front of house. In November last year, Luke and his family tragically lost their baby boy, Hunter.

In Hunter’s memory, we are taking on “Hunter’s Journey” — walking 80 miles in 3 days, travelling to all the places Hunter visited during his precious time on earth with us.

We are raising money and awareness for Heart Link Charity, this incredible charity supported Hunter during his days and continue to support his family today.

We’ll share the link below in the comments section where you can read their full story and contribute if you wish.
