We are really pleased to announce that we are hosting the “Ambassador of British Blues” himself—Eddie Martin—for two strictly limited sets this March.
Eddie is a multi-award-winning artist and European Blues Awards ‘Best Solo Artist’ winner,regarded as “A National Treasure” by the music press. From his jaw-dropping slide guitar work to his signature “rack-harp” harmonica style, he brings a level of virtuosity that usually requires a stadium ticket.
We’ve managed to snag him for two very different, very special nights: THURSDAY 5TH MARCH: The House Band Jam
Eddie joins Martin Bowie and our legendary Rbar House Band. Expect sparks to fly as he plugs in and riffs with the local crew. This will be raw, spontaneous, and loud.
SATURDAY 7TH MARCH: The Solo Session
Eddie takes the stage solo to show exactly why he is a world-renowned master of the craft. Expect deep blues, incredible storytelling, and a masterclass in foot-stomping rhythm.
Eddie has released acclaimed albums, toured the world, and been inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame. Seeing him in the intimate, low-lit surroundings of the Rbar is a “once-in-a-blue-moon” opportunity.
