Hello .festival and welcome back to Caversham!

We are open all weekend to help those weary mornings kick back into action ready to dance and party at the festival in the evening. Rub those eyes, festivalers, and wander into Caversham each day to discover some delicious places to refuel.

If you’re looking for food: Alto Lounge with have you covered with all day breakfasts and great lunch options, Vegivores is here for all those vegan needs, Warings Bakery will be around with breakfast baps and sausage sarnies and will sort out some epic pub grub for you!

It was a deep clean kind of night last night and Spill is looking pristine.

Some of our amazing team stayed late and helped us get scrubbing the floors, furniture, windows and all the nooks and crannies we could see.

A cheeky rearrange of the table layout, some spider relocating, plant moving and a visit from a butterfly. It all came together to make a fresh feeling bar.

Think of it as a delayed Spring clean. Pop down and see how glorious it’s looking and feeling here now! Not that it wasn’t before of course..

If there’s one thing we can get enough of, it’s our teams passion for their cocktail making.

Two of our team competed in a local competition at Coconutbarkitchen last week and blew us out of the park with their creations. It was such a proud time to watch them representing Spill while sharing their passion and creativity with other bartenders and judges.

A huge shout out to Caversham’s own Angel Bar Caversham as Hannah snapped first place with a great cocktail!

It’s cold, it’s peachy, it’s dangerously easy to drink. Reading Cocktail Week, you’re welcome.

Reading Cocktail Week runs 3rd–12th July and Spill is proudly part of it. Ten days, two full weekends, some of the best venues in the city - and we’re one of them.

Our Cocktail Week serve is a Peach Long Island Iced Tea. Everything you love about a Long Island - that properly loaded, unapologetically boozy classic - elevated with a layered float of spirits on top and a hit of peach syrup that makes it taste exactly like summer should. It looks the part too.
And for those skipping the alcohol, our mocktail version brings the same sunshine energy without the spirits. Still cold. Still peachy. Still very much worth ordering.

Here’s how it works: grab your wristband via the link in bio, pick it up from 26th June, and from 3rd July it unlocks our exclusive Cocktail Week offer for the full ten days.

Sundays 5-7pm is the build up to your wind down with us. A few cocktails, b**rs or glasses of exquisite vino and you’re ready to chill! Soft drinks are of course an option and we have a lovely range of 0-0.5% booze too!
