12 years in Hockley.

Back where it all began…

Follow the red neon lights down the alley, climb the old metal fire escape and step through the doors of an old three-storey Victorian hosiery showroom, with its high ceilings, ornate plasterwork, dark decorative woodwork and quirky charm.

We’ve seen a lot of changes in Hockley over the last 12 years. Some highs, some lows, some great changes and some sad ones too.

We’ve watched some amazing independent businesses open, grow and help shape Hockley into what it is today. It’s the mix of businesses and people that makes this part of Nottingham so special.

Our quirky ground floor bar is available for group bookings and private hire, with room for up to 120 people.

Whether it’s a private event or a large table booking, we have food options available, along with facilities for live bands and DJs.

Fancy running The Rabbit?

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on General Manager to take the reins at The Blind Rabbit.

We’re an independent Nottingham bar with great food, cocktails, live sport, live music, events, a brilliant outdoor terrace and some seriously busy weekends.

This isn’t an office job. We want someone who loves hospitality, leads from the front, builds a great team and understands the numbers behind a successful venue.

You must have:

• Proven GM experience in a large, high-volume food and beverage venue
• A current Personal Licence
• Strong commercial and operational experience
• Confidence with P&Ls, labour, stock, GP and cost control
• Experience recruiting, developing and leading teams
• A good understanding of food operations, compliance and licensing

£40,000+ salary, dependent on experience
Generous performance-related bonus
Real autonomy to run and develop the venue

We’re looking for someone who wants to treat The Rabbit like their own business and genuinely make their mark.
