Bookings for our first Creole-inspired pop-up are now live via the links on our profile. We may be able to take a few walk-ins depending on demand. Our kitchen is the size of a shoe, but we’ll do our best!

Super exciting to be working with Chef Brad Filkins on this one. He’s taking care of the food, while we’re putting together some of our favourite New Orleans cocktails to match.

A couple more surprises coming too. Think really good American whiskey.

- BANK HOLS -

Reminder for the group that we are open for the Bank Holiday Sunday in August. Not the Monday though, as that is strictly reserved for us to do absolutely nothing, as is tradition.

It’s going to be hot hot hot today, which makes our favourite drink ingredient even more important.

We get ours made specially for us by our friends just down the road at - we even have it made to our own custom size because we are absolute princesses.

We’re here until midnight tonight too, so you can always wait until Nottingham has cooled down a bit before coming to hang out 🧊

-AFTERGLOW-

Tomato in a cocktail still seems to scare people. Which is odd really, because we all will happily put it on a full English (it’s also the worst item on the plate).

Green chilli-infused tequila, our own tomato cordial, fair trade mango liqueur and a spent tomato crisp we make with the remaining tomato skins.

It’s savoury, a little spicy and probably one of the most refreshing things on the menu.

- The Big Cheese -

A martini, made with blue cheese. Yep, cheese. Nottingham’s own Cropwell Bishop Creamery to be exact.

Now, we know this might sound awful (we see you, blue cheese haters), but it quite possibly makes the filthiest, saltiest and creamiest martini we’ve ever had.

It absolutely isn’t for everyone. But if it’s your thing, it’s really your thing. It’s definitely ours and we love it.

We only make a limited number of these each week and they do run out, so those cheesy martini people are definitely out there. 🧀

We’ll stop saying cheese now sorry.

- SPACE-

We’re not massive, but we’re bigger than we look. Two floors, a bit of outside seating, and plenty of corners to hide in.

Because of our layout (and, occasionally, the joy of no-shows), we only take bookings for groups of 6 or more.

If you’re fewer than 6, just wander in whenever you fancy. We’ll always do our best to get a drink in your hand as quickly as we can. That’s our number one job x

All change on the wines- we have done a full switcheroo on the menu just because we fancied doing so really.

We would love someone to join our team- we are looking for a new friend for a couple of shifts a week Front-Of-House (Fri & Saturday availability is required).
