Orange Pip Market is back this Saturday 🎉

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Orange Pip transforms Baker & Bedford Street into a huge celebration of independent food, craft drinks, music and local creativity from 12pm until 5pm 🌿

Expect artisan food stalls, embroidery workshops, magicians, aerial blossom workshops and a brilliant atmosphere throughout the afternoon.

We know some people can sometimes think events like this mean the town will be hectic, but Orange Pip has always had a really friendly, welcoming atmosphere and is one of the best days of the year to enjoy Middlesbrough’s independent quarter.

We’ll be open from 3pm as usual for cocktails, wine, Charcuterie & Cheese and plenty of table service, no standing room only here - the usual Nuthatch service you know and love 🍸🧀

Whether you fancy a quick cocktail whilst exploring the market, or a relaxed afternoon and evening with us afterwards, we’d love to see you.

Dutch Barn Vodka, St Germain Elderflower Liqueur, lime and fresh watermelon, blended into one of our favourite frozen cocktails from the last decade.

Fresh, icy and dangerously easy drinking, it’s the perfect cocktail for a luke-warm Middlesbrough summer.

We’re excited to introduce something new for the summer.

Our Bottomless Summer of Spritz is now live, available on selected dates throughout May and June. This is a 90-minute experience built around ten cocktails, including five refreshing spritz serves and five seasonal drinks, all designed to be light, vibrant and easy to enjoy.

Alongside the drinks, you’ll be served our signature British Charcuterie & Cheese board to share, all for £45 per person, making it the perfect way to settle in and spend the evening with friends.

Whether you’re planning a birthday, a catch-up, or just looking for something a little different, this is a relaxed and sociable way to enjoy The Nuthatch.

We’ve put together a seasonal selection featuring a mix of familiar favourites and a few new serves for the warmer evenings, perfect for starting your night, catching up with friends, or simply enjoying something properly made at a very good price.

There is something timeless about a proper Old Fashioned.

Ours starts with Wild Turkey, our new favourite bourbon and now the backbone of most of our Old Fashioned menu. Bold, balanced, and exactly what this classic deserves.

But we did not stop at the classic.
Our menu features 10 different Old Fashioneds, from a traditional Bourbon or Scotch serve to more adventurous twists like a smoky Mezcal Old Fashioned, or the Quintessential. A rich, indulgent blend of Wild Turkey, Bacardi 8 and Courvoisier XO Cognac that has quickly become a guest favourite.
