Excited to find a definition of what we’re doing at VdM: ‘Lusophone Cuisine; refers to the diverse food traditions from Portuguese-speaking countries (the Lusophone world), encompassing Portugal, Brazil, Angola, Mozambique, Goa (India), Macau (China), East Timor, and others, united by shared ingredients like codfish, seafood, tropical fruits, and spices, influenced by exploration, trade, and distinct local cultures, often found in restaurants like London’s Volta Do Mar.’ Although not at all that often found in other restaurants - let us know if you know of any others doing what we’re doing…?
