We're slap bang in the middle of this year's Edinburgh Fringe, and we hope you're all enjoying yourselves? To all those working it, we hope it's being kind to you.

But have we had enough overpriced pints in plastic cups yet? Remember all those year round places that keep this city a global destination for food & drink. Go and enjoy the diversity that the festival brings, but treat yourself to a fantastic drink from a real glass tonight!

As always we're open from 4pm with some great DJs bringing the party from 5pm - 1am. Catch you at the bar.

After five years tending to our little subterranean corner of Edinburgh, our bar manager Sam Baxendale is moving on to pastures new. It’s always a little bittersweet when folks move on, but this presents an exciting opportunity for someone to come in with fresh eyes and fresh energy, and take on the challenge of running one of the UK’s iconic cocktail bars as we move into our third decade.

Bramble’s always been led by the people who are behind the bar day in, day out so if you’re the person with the drive and determination to take the reins, we want to hear from you - email [email protected] with your CV and a cover letter.

A month long party and celebration of everything performing arts. The city will be filled with a buzz of excitement & we're no different.

Today we bid farewell to Mr. Cameron Porter, aka Trameron, aka Princess Porter.

Over the past couple of years Cam has served as an integral part of the Bramble team, bringing his passion for hospitality and love of hip hop (do you know he really likes Nas & Primo) to every service.

Thank you so much & we wish you all the best in your new role, but for now let's do it one last time.

If the heat is proving problematic, remember your favourite cocktail basement to cool off in. We've plenty of shade, refreshing beverages and tons of ice. Oh did we mention we're fully air conditioned!?
