Live music this Saturday 🎶 When we heard that jazz duo & .barber.music were looking for a venue in Barry this Saturday due to a cancellation we jumped at the chance to have them at Craft (and thank you to everyone that pointed them in our direction!).

1 year at the Waterfront ☕️ 🍷 🍻 A year ago today we opened our doors in our new home for the first time and what a year it’s been!

We’ve loved sharing and celebrating our first year in our new location with all of you, thank you so much for continuing to support our independent business, it truly means the world to us.

From OG customers that came with us when we moved, to the amazing people that supported our crowdfunder to make the move possible in the first place, to all the lovely new friends we’ve made since being in our new home, and of course to our amazing team who have dealt with the teething problems of the move with humour, grace and utter professionalism. I’m sure you’ll all agree they’re are an absolute bunch of legends 💪

We don’t have the words to say how grateful we are to each and every one of you, thank you doesn’t even come close. What an amazing year of memories we’ve made together, cheers to many more 🍻 🥂

Our new sparkling orange wine is the perfect fizz for your glass this weekend ✨ Organic, 11.5% and lightly sparkling this delicious wine is made from Gewürztraminer grapes that have been left on their skins for a couple of days which imparts that beautiful colour.

Inspired by a classic spritz it’s aromatic with notes of orange zest, rose petal and citrus balanced by a crisp refreshing finish.

Best enjoyed with friends on sunny August afternoons, we’re serving this sparkling orange wine by the glass at Craft Republic and at Môr this weekend, come and grab a glass (or pick up a bottle to take home).

(PS the delicious food in this footage is not included, you’ll need to tap up our good friends & for that 😆)

Win(e)d into the weekend with our new wine specials 🍷 This trio is making a guest appearance on the Craft Republic wine list for the summer, we’re pouring all of the by the glass so come down to the waterfront and enjoy a glass (or two) of these corkers:

✨ Chin Chin Vinho Verde (11.5%) is a beautiful Portuguese white wine that’s crisp, refreshing and easy drinking. With bundles of crisp green apple and zesty citrus it’s the perfect wine for sunny summer sipping.

✨ Contra Viento Organic Albariño (11%) is crisp and dry with green apple, juicy peach and almost lemon meringue notes hailing from sun-drenched Spanish region of La Mancha.

✨ Masseria Pasani Primitivo (13.5%) is smooth, full-bodied and fruity. This beautiful Italian red wine is full-flavoured with rich dark berry notes and hints of vanilla.

And DONT PANIC - our infamous sparkling red wine has disappeared from the specials menu … because we ‘re making it a permanent listing on our menu 🍷

Sharks spotted at the Waterfront 🦈 It’s Shark week and the first time that this many sharks have been spotted from Barry Dock 😆 Dave was in charge of making content for this one and fair play, I think that video is one of the best things he’s ever done (sound on for maximum effect 😆)

Celebrating the legendary Shark range from the Cornish brewing powerhouse that are Verdant Brewing Co we’ve got the full range of beers pouring on tap as well as in the fridge. Whether you’re a die hard Verdant fan (which we know a lot of you are), or whether you’re Verdant-curious, get stuck into these beauties because they’re all banging. We’re pouring;

🦈 Even Sharks Need Water IPA (6.5%) is the OG, in-fact it’s the first New England IPA that Verdant ever brewed. Verdant say it’s got a ‘fluff-filled luxurious body’ , we say fluff-filled or not, it’s seriously good.
🫍 Whale Sharks DIPA (8.4%) joined the clan a couple of years ago. Packing a heavier punch than the original IPA but still with the characteristic juiciness of the OG, but amped up a notch.
🐟 Baby Sharks Pale Ale (4.8%) is the newest of the trio. Still juicy, hoppy, hazy and bloomin’ tasty but a bit more sessionable.

All are pouring now on the waterfront. Come and get a flight of Sharks or just dive straight in with a pint of your favourite 🍻
