The countdown is on — there are two weeks left.
We’ve always felt really lucky to share in a part of the timeline of this iconic room. Bringing it back to life & to what it first was when it opened as a cocktail lounge in 1977 will always be one of the greatest joys of our lives.
It is the first home for our business, and as much of an impact as the walls & ceilings have had, it has introduced us to some of the sweetest humans that we now get to call regulars and friends. To the folks who continue to choose to support our small business, you have given us the reasons to keep going. To the people that we are fortunate enough to work with genuinely represent C&C to the best of their ability every day, their work ethic and hospitality is contagious & they have been the life force behind this space.
From part-time tiki nights, painting that honeycomb ceiling with a four-inch roller and cat naps on the floor after service at 2am, this place is holding a lot of memories for us. And although it wasn’t our choice to leave, we’re feeling appreciative of what these walls have helped us build as C&C. We’re looking forward to a creating long-term home and to what this next chapter brings.
Thanks for being along for the ride & for supporting our wildest dream. Hope to see you soon, in this sweet old bar of ours or at 606 Trounce Alley (!!!) (…stay tuned for updates about timeline, we’re still a minute or two away)
Thank you for coming to my emo ted talk. 🥲❤️
