Hot Club Swing

Hot Club Swing Hot Club Swing is your twice-monthly, non-profit Saturday Swing Dance venue in Vancouver! DJ nights are $8 & live band nights are $15.

Join us on the 1st & 3rd Saturday evenings of every month in the gorgeous dance studio at the Roundhouse Community Centre! We teach drop-in beginner swing lessons from 8-8:30pm before every dance, and host DJ'd social dances and live band nights from 8:30pm-12am. HCS has an in- house DJ collective, known as the Swing Society Syndicate (named to reflect the DJs' involvement in the Vancouver Swing S

ociety). The hard-hitting, sweet-spinning SSS is composed of infamous local DJs Smack (Joel Schwarz), Trollop (Angie Weddell), and Shuffleupagus (Matt Lam). Typically, a member of the Syndicate shares the DJing duties with another community DJ on our DJ ngihts. Live band nights are always a blast, and feature well-established or new-and-hot jazz bands made up of the Lower Mainland's incredible music talent pool! We are lucky to have so many amazing musicians in our community to complement and play to the energy of the Lindy Hop community.
