🥂 6 YEARS OF ARRANA 🥂
Far out 6 years!!! 😱
As we celebrate six years of Arrana, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible highs, the heartbreaking lows, the laughter, the tears, the achievements and the challenges that have shaped us along the way.
We’ve celebrated some truly special moments, received awards we’re incredibly proud of, welcomed so many beautiful guests through our doors and built something that means so much to us.
We’ve had challenging times that have tested us, taught us valuable lessons and reminded us of the importance of resilience, passion and believing in what we do.
Add to this, we’ve experienced the sadness of losing beautiful people who were part of our small but mighty team. People who left their mark on our hearts and who will always be remembered. ❤️
The amazing team of people working with us who we call our Arrana family joining our already actual amazing family - you guys continue to lift us every day as we work as one aiming to keep things real in hospitality….. respect, kindness, proper service without all that other bu****it & good food, incredibly good food!! In that regard ‘yeh we go ok!’.
On a personal note, I couldn’t be more proud of my amazing son and business partner, our Executive Chef , Daniel Cabban. It’s funny how people will often say, ‘you work with your son??’ Like it’s a recipe for disaster!
But to stand alongside your son and watch his talent, creativity and dedication shine is a pretty special thing. I’m beyond proud of him and everything we continue to achieve together.
Arrana has always been about so much more than what’s on the plate. It’s about our people, the connections we make with our community, showcasing the beautiful Blue Mountains to visitors to our area, the memories they have of our restaurant, the beautiful food we offer, the warm hospitality and creating a place where people feel welcome, relaxed and part of something special.
I will never take for granted the genuine connections & friendships we have made with our ‘guests’…who honestly feel more like friends than just guests. I see reservations coming in online & instantly recall who they are, where they live, their partner’s name & how they were feeling last time I saw them. I’ll do a mental note….. must remember to ask how their sick daughter is doing….or has their son finished their degree now? …or when are you finally getting married, hurry up already!
So here’s to six years of Arrana — the beautiful moments, the hard lessons, the connections, the new friends we make along the way, the achievements and everything in between.
Here’s to the next chapter and hopefully plenty more good times ahead. 🥂✨
And we can’t wait to see what the next six years bring!
