Saturday marked the biggest night in Chinese Laundry history, and we couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to our Class of 2027 Residents.

A packed dancefloor, familiar faces, new friends and everyone dressed to the nines. Pretty special seeing the next generation of Laundry talent welcomed like this 💫

Big love to everyone who came down and made it what it was, and to our residents for making it a night to remember.

THIS FRIDAY AT CHINESE LAUNDRY 🧺

A familiar face and mainstay of Eora’s underground, Bouki steps into the spotlight at Chinese Laundry this Friday for a full club takeover.

A Laundry resident, Dayshift co-founder, Terra Audio label head and accomplished producer in his own right, the Inner West staple has been an active part of Sydney’s underground music community for years on end, bringing a trove of the world’s most forward-thinking talents in dance music to local dancefloors.

With roots firmly planted in the UK underground, expect a journey through weighty bass, UKG, breaks and everything in between (best have the Shazam in hand for this one).

From behind the scenes to behind the decks, this Friday is all about community and those who help shape it 💫

Halloween Eve is calling, and we’ve got some serious treats for you tonight. UK underground favourite 1-800 GIRLS brings his distinctive blend of euphoric house, UK garage and breakbeat to the Laundry, joined by local selectors Domonique Dee, Lina and Mike McCaskill B2B Nick Van Tiel.

Meanwhile, Naarm’s Carter Walsh takes charge of the Cave, bringing a mix of house, bass-heavy selections and reworks of familiar favourites, alongside local talents BNX and Lyssa.

The energy’s turning up this Saturday as Deens | دينز & Friends bring bass-heavy global club sounds to the Laundry, while RAW takes the Cave deep into hypnotic, driving techno.

British-Palestinian DJ, producer and Laundry resident Deens takes over the main room with her signature blend of UK bass, global club rhythms and percussive electronica. Fresh off a feature on triple j’s Mix Up and the launch of her own event series Beyond, she’s rounding up a crew of like-minded selectors for a night of unpredictable selections, infectious rhythms and plenty of surprises.

RAW TAKEOVER

Sydney’s RAW collective takes control of the Cave, with Justin Muscat leading the charge. A fixture of the underground scene since 2013, with appearances at Subsonic and across Europe and Asia, Muscat brings his distinctive blend of raw, hypnotic and driving techno for a night of twisted rhythms and deep, rolling grooves.

The brainchild of Naarm selector and multihyphenate Sam Jenkins, LOVED has spent eight years connecting underground communities through music, art, fashion and creative collaborations, with a presence spanning Naarm and Tokyo.

From intimate gatherings to late-night sessions, the collective has built a reputation for doing things its own way. Now, they’re heading up to Eora with some of Naarm’s finest selectors in tow for a special anniversary celebration.

MAMI BY UMAMI

Sydney selector 𝖚𝖒𝖆𝖒𝖎 takes the reins in the Cave, assembling a handpicked crew of local talent for a journey through jungle, breaks, 140 and drum & bass.

Having supported the likes of Andy C, Grooverider and Sub Focus, she’s quickly built a reputation for dark atmospheres, rolling basslines and high-energy selections. Expect plenty of low-end pressure throughout the night.

Eight years of LOVED, two rooms of carefully curated sounds and plenty to celebrate until the early hours.
