On the evening of the 8th of August, the moon before women's day, we're celebrating "Goddess: of the river. the lake. the oceans. the sea". An evening in honour of the feminine, beautiful music, sensual films, a themed photobooth and some other surprises in the same spirit as "Where the wild roses grow". A night celebrating the fairer s*x. An evening for and about women.
This time around the theme is water and we're focussing on video aka film aka moving images. (We're leaving the poetry, photography and illustration for a next time.) So we're looking for video submissions; the only criteria is women and water. She can be swimming in a lake, standing under a waterfall, daydreaming in a bath. Whatever. Think beach, sand, sea. Think mountain pool, rock pool, swimming pool. Think mist, fog and rain. Just keep it classy. Oh, and not just model looking girls. We want all ages, shapes, sizes and faces.
It can be a video you created, someone you know produced, or simply one of your favourite feel good music videos, short films or animations. No uploads or download necessasry, just send the link aka url to [email protected] and we'll get the video from there.
