Meet the Performers of Saigon Tango Weekend 2026!
All performances are not about perfection or showmanship alone. They are stories of the friendship across cities and cultures; the dedication, shared journeys, and the vibrant tango communities that continue to grow throughout Saigon, this region! So, this will bee More Than just Performances!

❤️ Jelica Yap (Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia) & Ivan Neo (Singapore)
Jelica visited Saigon back in 2011. Since then her passion for Tango has never once faded. She’s beloved figure in the Southeast Asian tango community, admired for her elegance, musicality, and warm social dancing. Partnering with her is Singapore's Ivan Neo, a respected dancer and teacher known for his strong fundamentals, musical interpretation, and dedication to social tango, including Saigon’s one. Together, they bring years of experience, friendship, and refined dancing to our floor.

🌟 Dylla & Zacky (Indonesia)
Representing the new generation of tango in Indonesia, Dylla & Zacky are a talented young couple whose energy and passion have quickly captured attention throughout the region. They are able to combine technical precision with youthful creativity and have already been invited to perform internationally. Expect fresh energy, beautiful connection, and inspiring musicality from this rising couple.

💖 Rachel Kumar & Jorence Altoveros (Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia)
One of the earliest couples visited and competed in Saigon, back 2011 -and they got the Golf medal at that year’s competition. Later they’ve added up to their long-standing partnership few more Champions title, such as 2017 Manila Tango Championship; Tango Dance Asian Champion (senor cat.); 2019 Korea International Tango Championship (senor cat.) ; Bali 2023 Indonesia Championship Preliminaries (Milonga) ; 2025 Philippines Tango Championship (milonga)… Besides, Rachel & Jorence have been dancing and promoting tango together for many years. Their partnership reflects elegance, experience, and a deep love for Argentine Tango. Their achievements include winning the Milonga category at the Malaysia Tango Festival, and they continue to inspire dancers across Malaysia and beyond.

🤝 Flora (Vietnam) & Arga (Indonesia)
Not every tango partnership begins as a performance/championship partnership, and that's exactly what makes this one special. For Saigon Tango Weekend, Flora and Arga come together as a fresh team-up that celebrates one of the most beautiful aspects of tango: friendship.
Bringing together Vietnam and Indonesia, this collaboration symbolizes the connections that tango creates across borders. Their performance is not only about steps and technique, but also about shared joy of dancing together. A lovely reminder that sometimes the most meaningful tango stories begin with friendship. ❤️
