Dear STW Friends,
And just like that... our weekend is over 🥹 The dance floor is empty, the music has stopped, we see off the arrtists, and texted good-byes to all friends! But, you know, our hearts are full!

❤️ THANK YOU for every dance, every embrace, every conversation over coffee and drinks, every shared meal, every laugh, every late-night chat, and every moment that made this weekend special.. 🇻🇳✨

We hope you enjoyed not only the workshops, milongas, and performances, but also a little bit of Saigon: the food together, the coffee, the warmth, the energy, and the spirit of our local community.

A huge thank you to Silvina Tse & Julio Alvarez Tango, the DJ team (Ivan, Robin and Tony), generous Tomaso and everyone who quietly worked behind the scenes. And most importantly, THANK YOU ALL, to our old and new Tango friends, for bringing such beautiful energy, for embracing the coziness and friendly atmposphere in the heat of tropical Saigon! We've started this weekend as a Tango event, but We leave it as a bigger family!

Please keep in touch, keep visiting each other, keep dancing together somewhere in Asia, and remember that you will always have friends waiting for you in Saigon. ❤️

✅ Purchase a local SIM card (Viettel is the best. Next comes Mobifone and Vinaphone.)

🇻🇳 Local Customs & Helpful Tips
🙏 A smile goes a long way. Vietnamese people are friendly and welcoming.
💵 Cash is still useful for small shops and street food, although cards are widely accepted in malls, hotels and restaurants.
🛵 Traffic may look chaotic, but don't panic when crossing streets. Walk steadily and predictably.
👕 Dress light. August is warm, humid, and sometimes rainy.
💧 Stay hydrated between workshops and milongas. Organizers do provide with water, but still secure your own!
🎁 Tipping is appreciated but NOT mandatory. For good service, many visitors leave 5-10% tip
