The next ingredient Polite & Co. is excited to reveal is La Tomato Liqueur, a Japanese liqueur made from fresh tomato juice, blended with syrup and a neutral spirit to create something soft, delicate, and incredibly “alive.”
What’s interesting is, this isn’t the tomato flavor you’d normally expect.
Instead, it leans into a very “garden-like” profile:
– The smell of vine-ripened tomatoes, fresh with a slightly green edge
– A light acidity that reminds you of green apple and citrus
– A smooth, gently sweet texture with a clean, soft finish
It feels like stepping into a garden in the morning, when the leaves are still covered in dew and the tomatoes are perfectly ripe, holding onto all their natural freshness.
From the ocean… to the garden.
