Last Sunday, my closest friends and family surprised me with a 1 year anniversary party. They really got me good! I had zero clue that this huge event was being planned as I went about my days. They waited, hiding in their cars for me to leave at night so they could plan and make t-shirts for everyone there, they had group texts going daily to make sure it went off without a hitch, and even included my out of town family. Every detail was thought of and it could not have been a more amazing celebration ❤️ ✨️
This last year has taught me sooooo many things, but my most favorite lesson has been that I am WORTHY of a village. It is ok to ask for help, let people know im struggling, be my true self, play like a kid, LOVE the kids and adults as if they are my family , be ridiculous, be sad, and be so excited to share my ideas and wins! They have shown me that I do not have to carry anything alone and there will aways be a non judgemental, listening ear at The Family Room .
I love this village and I can't wait to see what new families, adventures and lessons the next year brings.
