As you may have read in my first post, I recently decided to create a space highlighting art and wellness. Sure, there are plenty of fitness blogs, nutritionists, holistic health coaches, health + wellness products out there, but nothing I've come across focuses on the crossover with the arts.

when you're brain is feeling foggy, take ten minutes to meditate. even five minutes will do the trick! sit down comfortably, and relax your arms at your sides. close your eyes. take two deep breaths in and out. then breathe normally for the remainder of your meditation. do a body check, scan from the top of your head to your toes and assess how each part of your body feels, without judgment. once you have completed the body scan, focus on your breath in and out. any thoughts that come to your mind, allow them to come in but subtly shepherd them away like directing the flow of traffic. keep focusing on your inhales and your exhales until the five or ten minutes is complete. this is a great way to reset body and mind. methods learned from Andy 🙏🏽
