So, this one time we were having the punk band Dr. Know perform. Mom was at the front taking money for entry when this dude comes up and demands that he be allowed to come in for free. My mom tells him the cover charge and he demands to speak to her manager. She tells him she is the co-owner and he says he wants to speak to the other owner, which was me.
I go over to see what he wanted and he puffs up and says that I should let him in. I tell him the cover charge and he tells me, "but I'm from Cypress Hill." I tell him, "I don't care if you are from Puente Hills, you still have to pay the cover." My volunteers are telling me that the dude is the lead singer of the famous band, Cypress Hill. To which I tell him "in that case, you should not only pay for yourself but all these kids that don't have enough money to get in."
He looked shocked, shrugged and preceded to pay for him and 10 other kids. At the end of the night he was all smiles and hugging and calling mom, mom.
