Bobber Down Fishing stories

Perch report 12-8-2024~
Navy Pier- the perch have been in since the last week of November. Have to w**d trough to get your keepers but limits can be taken.
DRop shot rig with Red #8 aberdine hooks and an Ice Jig below. Fish do move from shore to about 50’ from pier. People catching limits are using one rod.
They hit light so holding that rod in hand will increase fish count in my opinion. Just keep slack out of line so bait is 6-12” off bottom.
Baits- Minnow,Shrimp,Redworms or Catch a small perch and use it as cut-bait.
