Cigar industry news. Not everything we cover lands on our shelves, so ask us what's in the humidor.

Congratulations to the Fuente family. 🏆

Arturo Fuente was back at the InterTabac trade show this fall, and Chateau Fuente took home the Cigar Trophy for Best Brand, Dominican Republic.

For a lot of us a Fuente was the first really good cigar we ever smoked. What was your first Fuente?

The Bull goes maduro. 🐂

La Flor Dominicana is marking ten years of the Andalusian Bull with a first: a maduro. Same big 6 1/2 x 64 figurado, now in a dark Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, with Dominican leaf inside that has been aging since 2016. Only 5,000 boxes of 10 were made, and they start shipping this week.

The original was Cigar Aficionado's No. 1 Cigar of the Year for 2016. Did you ever get to smoke one?

The Monster is back. 🎃

Tatuaje's Halloween release this year is Jason Redux 6: a 7 1/2 x 52 with a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan to***co, rolled at My Father. Only 5,000 boxes of 13 were made, packed in a coffin-style box with the hockey mask on it.

They ship in early October and they never sit around long. Who's hunting one this year?
