Rumor is that someone signed a lease with the Slumlords where Kilted was.
No roof repair, probably black mold somewhere, Bricks on the outside of the Building still barely hanging on, no repairs.... nothing! This building is still a hazard. The Owners agreed to the settlement of all the money owed for Lance for repairing many things in the Building, yet never signed then changed the locks illegally.
The Plumbing was never repaired, and backs up to floods the bathrooms. Shocking that these People are even allowed to lease it!!!
It will not matter what the lease says, the new People will have all repair costs on them.. even supply their own water heater!!! Passing all the inspections needed to open will be very costly!!
Very Frustrating the Owners get to do this again to someone else. 😪

And only because everyone is messaging, and We have had to answer daily... No, Salud did NOT buy Kilted Spirits Penny Bar!!! We still have it.. they just did the same bar I guess. 😐

Don't give up hope that Kilted will re-open in the future. First step is finding a safe building and credible Landlords. 😳

Is there anyone who could help Me remove the plastic vynal signs that say Kilted Spirits.
I just need to pull them out from the sign base connected to the Building.
They weren't cheap, and I would like to add them to the storage. 🙂

Update. Needed to give the building Owners the key so they could go in and patch more leaks the roof. NOT to repair the roof like it's needed!!! (Too expensive).
So, now they have paper up on all the windows and a 'for rent' sign in the window!!!!
They haven't even signed the settlement agreement yet!. Kilted Corp. STILL has possession of the Building, so HOW can they rent it?
Also... they refuse to fix all the unstable bricks that fly off the building in the wind.
Lance refused to re-open until all of that was repaired. They put a board up (too expensive)
Does anyone know why the City Of Washougal would let incompetent Landlords rent Commercial Buildings to People that aren't even safe???
Who can We get out there to say NO.MORE until the Owners fix these things????
A Great Bar had to close!! A Great Guy may loose alot of money because of all of this!!!!
It doesn't seem fair.
And now there will be a next victim!!!
Any Advice?? Any Good Attorneys out there??
I decided to hastag can't hurt. We were suppose to be on Bar Rescue.because of the Building issues (and of course other relationship dramas we can't talk about... heheheehe) but the Covid closed us 10 days after contracts arrived 😢

Kilted Spirits is looking for a new Owner!!! The Community has spoken and wants to keep the Pub open!!!! Lance is working full time in Seattle now and is taking offers from Someone who wants to see the Bar remain the Irish fun that it is!!!! The contract dispute is settled and it's time to open the doors!!

We would love the Communities help and input on the current legal situation with the lease.
We have a breach of contract suit being handled by an Attorney. In addition to this breach that cost the Pub thousands, the Owner's are refusing to fix the area on the top of the building where all of the bricks fell off during the windstorm last winter.
Our Attorney is saying that to sign a new lease would not be the thing to do, as this leaves Lance (the owner) at the risk of injury to the Guests, and potential lawsuits of being hit by falling bricks.
Here I my question... How are the Owners even able to lease a Commercial Building to ANYONE if it isn't even safe??
Is this something we need to ask the City of Washougal??? Why aren't the Owners told they cannot lease their building until the repairs are made, and the sidewalks are safe for pedestrians and Guests of the establishment??
