Misadventure and Co. The world's first carbon negative spirit. Our vodka is upcycled from excess baked goods.

The story so far: It all started with a chance meeting at a North County San Diego bar between the two founders (Whit Rigali and Samuel Chereskin.) Whit, the bartender, wanted to create local craft spirits as tools for other bartenders. Sam, the Agricultural Economist, wanted to find ways to improve food systems and show that doing good can also be viable. Their conversation over a glass of whiskey led to the creation of Misadventure & Co. These spirits are not just products of 4 years of R&D in a cramped garage, but lessons learned through the San Diego brewing and distilling communities and our wild and wonderful friends and family. We desire to make quality spirits that everyone can enjoy and create them sustainably.

Imagine a night out with your friends—but somewhere between the cocktails and conversation, a crime has been committed. 👀

Throughout the evening, you’ll meet suspicious characters, uncover clues, hear stories that may or may not add up, and work to piece together what really happened. Figure out whodunit before the mystery is revealed to win a prize!

No experience necessary. You don’t have to be an actor, detective, or true-crime expert. Just bring your curiosity, your friends, and your best detective instincts. 🕵️‍♀️🍸

This Saturday, October 3, we’re hosting our first-ever Sports Watch Party at Misadventure for Padres vs. Brewers!

We’ll have the game on outside from 4:30–8 PM, with our food and drinks available to order while you watch.

No tickets. No cover. Just get here early—patio seating is limited and it’s first come, first served.

Halloween magic, cocktails, and just enough mystery to make you question what you actually saw. 🎃✨

This Monday, October 5, award-winning magician and mentalist Derek Ostovani is taking over Misadventure & Co. for a special Halloween Magic Show—an evening of sleight of hand, mentalism, impossible predictions, and the kind of tricks you’ll still be trying to figure out on the way home.

Doors are open for dinner and drinks from 6–8 PM, with the magic starting at 7 PM.

The cocktails are poured. The suspects have arrived. And somewhere in the room, someone knows more than they’re letting on…the scene is set for Murder Mystery Night at Misadventure!

If you’ve never attended one, think of it as part live entertainment, part detective game, and part unforgettable night out. As the story unfolds around you, you’ll discover clues, encounter suspicious characters, and work with your friends to determine who committed the crime.
