Some nights at Honey Barrel are loud.

The room is full. Glasses are clinking. Someone is laughing a little too hard at the end of the bar. The Old Fashioneds are flowing and every seat seems to have a story happening in it.

And then there are the quieter moments.

A couple sitting across from each other with nowhere else they need to be.
Friends ordering one more round because nobody is quite ready to leave.
Someone trying a bourbon they’ve never had before and immediately sliding the glass across the table saying, “You have to try this.”

Those are the moments we hoped for when we dreamed up Honey Barrel.

We love great whiskey. We love a really good Old Fashioned. We love finding bottles with a story behind them and figuring out how to make a familiar cocktail feel new again.

But more than any of that, we wanted to create a place where people would want to stay awhile.

Not a place you rush through.

A place you settle into.

A place where one drink turns into a conversation, a conversation turns into a memory, and every once in awhile you look around and realize…

this is exactly what we hoped Honey Barrel would become.

Thanks for continuing to fill these seats and give this little place a story of its own. 🥃

The patio got a workout yesterday and today is a perfect day for cocktails on the Honey Barrel patio. Low humidity and beautiful weather. Reminder that our patio is dog friendly as well as cigar friendly in the section furthest from the pergola. Come on out and enjoy a beautiful day and great cocktails!
