Hello neighbors, I hope you’re all enjoying your day. My name is Stephen and I’m the owner of Fine Finish Paint and Trim. I recently encountered a client Glenn Taggart of Fleming Island that after bending over backwards and trying to do all we could to make her happy has become irrational and hostile and decided screaming at me and acting irrational was a good way to discuss an accusation that involved my employees removing a series of electrical power cords from her couch but when I attempted to explain to her that we didn’t move her couch and we wouldn’t go inside the couch and undo any electrical wiring even if we had. She became belligerent and started yelling and screaming to a point that I just left her home and and texted her letting her know that my help was heading home because it was after 7 pm but would be returning the next day to finish the touch up and complete the job but I wasn’t going to be present because I had other jobs to deal with which she was already aware of plus after the way she treated me I didn’t feel comfortable returning. She informed me that she would not be letting my guys in to finish unless I was present knowing full well I wasn’t able to be there due to prior engagements she then proceeded to tell me she was tired and we would discuss it the following day. So after my meetings and not hearing from her I contacted her around noon at which time she informed me that she hired another company to finish my job. Let’s be clear the job was practically done there was maybe a couple hours left in touch up and clean up. She then proceeded to say she was not going to pay me for the job because I walked out and refused to finish. And is now refusing to let us retrieve our various ladders, walk boards and tool from her property and is going online searching for a painting company to finish the job and spreading slanderous lies about us . I am not going to let her slander me or my company. Anyone who knows me or who have hired me to work on their homes or businesses will attest that I am a professional and I conduct my business in a way that is respectful and professional and I’m not just some kind of lowlife that is taking advantage of my clients this person was hostile towards me and my employees and after taking advantage of my kind and generous nature she is attempting to get out of paying for our services, and posting on Nextdoor about the situation and she is spreading lies in an effort to pad her own ego I assume. But my work ethic and customer service speaks for itself and if anyone wants to truly know how I conduct my business all they need to do is speak to my clients themselves like Linda an amazing woman that is commented multiple times on said post defending my integrity along with many other satisfied clients and check my reviews on Angis list , Home Advisor, Better Business Bureau, Yelp, Facebook and so on. My integrity and business practices speak volumes through my clients and I am grateful for them. I digress, sorry for the long rant. Have a great day
