A.S.B.A. Old Snowmobile Club Show Ride

Hi folks it’s been a while, we at asba have changed our way of thinking about old snowmobiles. We decided to switch to newer sleds nothing against the old iron but let’s face it we’re not getting any younger either. Now newer sleds ride better they have more power and there more dependable. Before you start thinking we gave up on the vintage stuff we we just moved up a decade. Now most of our stock is eighties vintage sleds Mostly Yamaha’s, well all Yamaha’s. although we don’t do shows anymore we still try to do weekly rides. At this point we haven’t figured out how we can make eighties vintage sleds as interesting as the old iron. When we do we will let you folks know. I will try to get some pics of what we have. Let us know what you think and if you have any old Yamaha’s laying around send us a pic.

After a long rest ASBA is back at it again. we met last night and are planing new activities for this season. we will keep you all posted. also we are accepting new members if anybody is interested. we will get some contact info out soon. so polish up your old sled and get ready.

This year is another "No Show" for the A.S.B.A. club in Traverse City Michigan. To many opportunities to ride (drink beer) and enjoy this winter (and wine) for planning and executing the event is my personal take on it (drinking while typing this!). GOOD NEWS is there are other events you might want to plan on as they will be a GREAT TIME. First is the Antique & Vintage Snowmobile Show happening Feb 1, 2014 at the Soo I-500 Race in Sault Ste. Marie, MI!! Next is the Antique & Vintage Snowmobile Show and Ride, the 3rd weekend in Feb.(14th &15th, 2014). Get your Old Iron on and don't miss these VERY WELL organized events - and remember - "Bring 'em Back Alive!"
