Let’s make Tuna Tuesday a thing! 🐟

We don't know what it is about a rainy day, but it makes us crave an ooey-gooey, melty sandwich. The TLC Tuna Melt fits the bill.

This sandwich is made with Albacore tuna, mayo, Dijon, Jake's sharp cheddar cheese, and crispy maple bourbon bacon on grilled sourdough.

Enjoying it for dinner? We recommend pairing it with the Millbrook Unoaked Chardonnay.

The Village Art Walk is kicking off tonight in This Is Hamilton, NY at 5:30 pm!

Be sure to stop in and check out the works by artist Ryan Stewart on display.

We open at 2 pm, so visit us for food, bourbon, beer or wine before you head out on the town to take a stroll and view pop-up galleries at participating stops!

Our special sandwich tonight is made with mortadella and burrata, then topped with hot honey and arugula, and served on a baguette.

Two new Smoking Goose Meatery products we're introducing to the case at your request!

🐖 'Nduja

Pronounced in-do-yha.

This is a soft and spreadable pork salame. You can enjoy it in countless ways. First, bring 'Nduja to room temperature. Then, schmear it on a hot piece of toast fresh out of the toaster and eat as is, or before building out the rest of your sandwich.

Smoking Goose recommends layering it into gratin dishes of potatoes, sweet potatoes, and squash. You can also add it into your gravy or pan sauce to make it full-bodied and extra delicious.

🐖 Pig and Fig Terrine

Made with pork, pork liver, pork heart, dried figs, black pepper, garlic, white pepper, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger, coriander, red wine, wrapped in caul fat.
Terrine is ready to eat; slice thickly and serve with crackers or on a sandwich! Refrigerate or freeze to extend storage

We love hearing your requests, but we also love hearing how you prepare the items at home! Let us know in the comments if you try any of these! Both of these pair fantastically with soft cheese. Stop by our cheese counter, and we will make a recommendation for a pairing!

Earlier this week, we introduced you to Smoking Goose Meatery, a small, family-owned farm out of Indiana.

If you're looking for a snack for the office or on the go, grab a slab of one of their unique and oh-so-delicious smoked products. We currently offer their Spruce and Candy Salame, Rust Belt Saucisson, and Blackberry Duck Salame.

Looking for a cheese to pair it with? Here are our cheesemonger's recommendations!

Spruce and Candy Salame ➡ pork salame with spruce tips plus 18th Street Brewery's American Pale Ale, lemon peel, clove, Calabrian pepper, and pink peppercorns
🧀 Suggested cheese pairing: Jasper Hill Farm's Harbison

Rust Belt Saucisson ➡ 100% purebred Duroc pork from fourth-generation Gunthorp Farms in LaGrange, Indiana, blended with white pepper, garlic, lemon peel, nutmeg, clove, and cinnamon, before cold-smoking over applewood, hickory, and barrel staves
🧀 Suggested cheese pairing: Käserei Tufertschwil’s Challerhocker

Blackberry Duck Salame ➡ duck salame with a touch of pork for texture and Indiana’s own Upland Brewing Berry Sour Ale plus blackberries, white peppercorns, cinnamon, and lemon peel
🧀 Suggested cheese pairing: Colston Bassett Stilton

Just don't forget the crackers!

Say “Hallo” to Honey Thyme Goat Gouda from Treur Kass in the Netherlands.

Don’t let the language barrier scare you, “hallo” is merely “hello” in Dutch! 👋😂

This is a young, creamy cheese made from goat’s milk with the addition of organic honey and thyme, mixed in to give the cheese a wonderfully fresh and herby character.

New in the case!

Old Witch cheese, straight from the Swiss Alps.

This is a raw cow’s milk Swiss Alpine cheese, aged for 9 to 12 months.

This is a semi-firm, smooth cheese with savory notes of brown butter. Slightly nutty, with a hint of roasted onion.

This cheese goes great on a burger or in a grilled cheese. If you listen closely, you might even hear it saying, “I’m melting! I’m melting!”🧹

If you’ve been dining with us for long, you may have noticed we don’t carry the same products week in and week out. It’s so fun changing up our offerings weekly, seasonally or honestly, whenever we want to just because we find something that we LOVE!

Here are some of our newest meat offerings, all provided by our friends at Smoking Goose Meatery. Smoking Goose is a small family owned farm with a focus on responsible farming. Grub Street from New York Magazine praised them as, “the meat expert[s] rethinking one of the world’s most ancient food traditions.” We have to agree!

Find an arrangement of the varieties listed below on our Meat Board, or snag some for home from our grab-n-go case. For grab and go, we offer their Spruce and Candy Salame, Rust Belt Saucisson, and Blackberry Duck Salame.

Duck Prosciutto
Moulard duck breast with hints of star anise, allspice, and orange peel

Guanciale
Pork jowl with juniper berries, garlic, and black peppercorns

Stagberry Salame
