I'm doing a nice one for you so you can prepare. These are two of the brunch items at Souk Mediterranean Kitchen & Bar downtown Toledo served on Saturday. But, you should definitely consider getting a reservation because this place gets busy for brunch and rightly so. The "Literally French toast" is made with croissants from Sur Le Ponce, lightly covered in powdered sugar and served with the airiest Chantilly cream. Seriously it's like a cloud. A little cinnamon, a little nutmeg and some berries for 13 is a DEAL.

And if you are a savory sister like me, there's the shakshuka. It's a Mediterranean dish with tomatoes, Hungarian peppers, feta cheese, over easy eggs and more. 100000% suggest splurging and adding the fork tender crispy short rib for 8. It actually makes the meal big enough to share. I went with a friend and we ended up sharing both dishes with each other. Sweet and savory tooth satisfied.

Fancy brunch, great prices, and it's right near the downtown Toledo farmer's market so you can do two things in the same morning or early afternoon!
