Country Nights – Second Saturday – Bradenton Recreation Center
The Village Dance Club – Third Saturday – Colony Recreation Center
Swing Dance Club – Fourth Saturday – Bradenton Recreation Center

These are social dances on the first and third Sa

turday of the month which will typically include social dance music, Ballroom, Latin, Swing and even Line Dancing (during the live music break). The second Saturday is, you guessed it, mostly Country with some other dancing as well! And, on the fourth Saturday, you can Swing Dance the night away! For additional information about dress codes, fees, etc., please click on the Dance Information link above! Also, Jean and I now have 5 recognized Village Dance clubs, 1 for each of the first four Saturdays of the month. “The First Step” offered by DieterDance, is for “beginners” which meets every Thursday afternoon at Truman Rec. All you need to bring for this class is the desire to want to learn the basic’s and how to do it. However, we have to adhere to The Villages rules. Specifically, all attendees must be Villages residents. You can find Schedules of each dance by clicking on the dance in the menu or click on the links provide above. You can find the Executives and Officers in a submenu under each dance club menu. DieterDance Events is the place to go for, well, Special Events! And, we are working on either individual pages for Photos for each dance club…or, we hope to have a page just for photos…stay tuned! It just does not get any better than this Dance Cruise into the southern Carribean for 9 days.
