TOMORROW- Have you ever wanted to display your favorite bands on a denim jacket and take that into a pit, but you might not know how to sew or you’re just getting started on your journey? Or maybe you’re a vet and just wanna come trade some patches or help the newbies. Well come on down to the inaugural debut of the Tampa Bay battle jacket sewing club presented by the Spookeasy Lounge!
BATTLE JACKET MEET-UP
Battle jackets have always been a huge part of metal culture, but the art of building, sewing, and customizing them is starting to get lost. That's where we come in! There is a meet-up THIS WEEKEND about keeping that tradition alive and helping the next generation of metalheads learn the craft.
Bring your jacket, vest, patches, thread, needles, or even just an idea. Whether you're working on your first battle jacket or your tenth, everyone is welcome.
Experienced jacket builders and longtime members of the community will be on hand to help, answer questions, share techniques, and show newcomers the ropes. It's free to attend and all souls with their skill levels are welcome, so bring your own patches and projects and meet fellow Tampa Bay metalheads and Veterans. Learn, sew, and hang out.
