Every second weekend (Saturday) of the month, one monthly winner is crowned in our Karaoke Battle at The Anime Bar!
Next contest will be on June 13th.

📋 To enter: You must join our karaoke sessions at the bar Friday/Saturday and message .0 to participate in our future battles leading up to Anime Matsuri.

🏆 Each First place monthly winner earns a Weekend Badge to Anime Matsuri — with 5 total winners leading up to the con.
Second and Third place will get a spot to compete again on next months karaoke battle but the other contestants will be eliminated from the contest and CANNOT participate on future karaoke battles leading up to the con (but you can still sing freely during karaoke nights!)

🔥 At Anime Matsuri, 3 additional finalists will be chosen that night to join them, battling for $1,500+ in prizes.

🗳️ After Each Karaoke Battle, the contestants will be featured on the Anime Matsuri website, and YOU vote for your favorite! The link will be provided after each contest! (Link will be on our bio)

How to bake a loaf of bread ⏬️

Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour or bread flour
1 packet instant yeast, about 2 ¼ teaspoons
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup warm water, not hot
2 tablespoons oil or melted butter

Instructions:
1. Mix dry ingredients
- In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.

2. Add wet ingredients
- Add warm water and oil or melted butter. Mix until it forms a dough.

3. Knead the dough
- Knead the dough for about 8–10 minutes until smooth. Add a little flour if it is too sticky.

4. Let it rise
- Put the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it, and let it rise for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

5.Shape the loaf
- Punch the dough down, shape it into a loaf, and place it in a greased loaf pan.

6. Second rise
- Cover again and let it rise for 30–45 minutes until puffy.

7. Bake
- Bake at 375°F / 190°C for about 25–30 minutes, until golden brown.

8. Cool before slicing
- Let the bread cool for at least 15–20 minutes before cutting so it does not get gummy.
