End of This Era Well, that’s it, folks. The doors are closed, the last cocktails have been served, the goodbyes have been said, and the lights are off.These past few weeks have been bittersweet. Thank you all for showing up, sharing your memories, enjoying that final cocktail, and picking up one last bottle. Your support, not just now but over the past few years, has meant everything to us. To all the regulars—we’re going to miss seeing you, catching up, and hearing the laughter that filled the cocktail room.To our amazing staff, our second family—we couldn’t have done this without you. You are the most talented, fun, creative, and intelligent group we could ever hope to work with. What we accomplished together is nothing short of incredible. Honestly, I can’t imagine not seeing you every week. Thank you for making Forge & Foundry a place we loved and that others loved too. Your joy and dedication shone through every day, and we’re going to miss you the most!One thing I want to leave you with: it’s tough for small businesses, especially during the long Minnesota winters. If you love a local spot and want them to thrive, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE support them. Now more than ever, they need your patronage to keep going.As for what’s next? Well, first, rest. We’ve been at this for almost five years (another five if you count the planning and learning), through a pandemic, all while raising teenagers. It’s been a lot. It’s time to take a break—watch our kids compete on the high school swim team, slow down, and just be. This isn’t exactly how we planned to announce our two THC products after working on them for over a year, but here we are. We've put so much effort into these creations, and we truly believe they’re amazing. They drink just like the cocktails you’ve come to love from our cocktail room, yet they’re unique and unlike anything currently on the market. They taste great chilled straight from the can and even better poured over ice.

We’re excited to introduce two flavors:

California Dreaming: Passionfruit, hibiscus, lime, clove, and a touch of soda for bubbles. It’s a little sweet, like the California sunsets. (5mg THC)

Desert Daze: Prickly pear, lime, wildflower honey, and a touch of soda for bubbles. (5mg THC)

The name Wanderer Cocktail Co. comes from Christie’s last name, while the flavors are inspired by the places we’ve traveled. Our vision was to create a brand that brings unique flavors and experiences from all over the world.

A huge thank you to Blake speigel design or the incredible can designs—you absolutely knocked it out of the park. We’re in love with them! And, of course, a massive shoutout to Justin and our amazing team for their countless hours of tasting and refining to help bring these drinks to life.

It's Time to Say Goodbye

This is, without a doubt, the hardest post we’ve ever had to write. After 4 ½ incredible years, we’ve made the difficult decision to close the doors of Forge and Foundry. Our last day of service will be Saturday, January 18.

To our customers, thank you for being part of this journey. You’ve celebrated your milestones with us, brought your friends and families here, and supported us through thick and thin. You’ve made our little distillery a place filled with laughter, community, and unforgettable memories. We’ll always treasure that.

Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for the amazing staff who have poured their hearts and souls into making this place what it is. Without their hard work, dedication, and passion, we wouldn’t have made it this far. They are truly the best, and this is an especially tough time for them. They’ve done absolutely nothing wrong, and yet they’re losing their jobs. If you visit us in the next two weeks, please show them kindness, patience, and understanding. They deserve it now more than ever.

This isn’t the end we imagined, but we’re so proud of everything we’ve built together. Please stop by before the 18th to say goodbye, enjoy your favorite drink, and help us close out this chapter with love and gratitude.
