When we decided to open our store, we took the time to consider our community in every decision we made. Do the brands fit the western heritage and ski culture? Is the art fresh, but still rooted in the local culture? How do we make this a place for locals and tourists alike?

We have roots of over 20 years in this special town that we call home and we will always work hard to represent the community we call home.

Something new, but rooted in our past. That’s who we are.

We opened late yesterday so we could get a family ski session in with our kiddos during their winter blues break. When we started The Westerly we were creating something for our community, family, and something that is deeply connected to our passions. We work hard to make our little shop special for everyone that enters, but there are times that we have to hit pause in order to savor the moments we get together as a family. As our great grandpa Walt said, “Never neglect your family for business”. That statement is something we live by as we simultaneously raise a family and create an heirloom business that our children will one day have the option to own and operate.
