A TURN AT THE TABLE welcomes Doug Brandt this Wednesday (10.14) from 5-8 PM for an Allstar Happy Hour celebrating House, Disco, and a lifelong love of music💫
Doug's journey behind the decks began at The Garden in Des Moines before taking him to Atlanta, where residencies at The Armory and Bulldogs helped him develop his sound and a job at a local record store fueled his growing vinyl collection.
In 2001, Doug moved to Chicago and found himself immersed in the House music community that had inspired him for years. During his time there, he contributed as a writer during the first year of 5 Magazine and connected with artists including Ralphi Rosario and Ron Carroll. One of the defining chapters of his DJ career came through Frankie Knuckles, who invited Doug to open during his Boystown residency🪩
After more than a decade away from the decks, Doug is now based in St. Louis and returning to DJing with a renewed focus on the sounds that have stayed with him from the beginning 🌟
