To everyone who has enjoyed and been a part of GlitterBomb Productions - from the stage, the DJ booth, the seats, and everywhere else - we would like to extend our most heartfelt thanks for your involvement and support over the years.
From our pre-GlitterBomb days at Faces on Fourth Street, to The Complex, Rue 13, Attitudes, and JJ's Clubhouse (and a handful of other venue/event appearances), we've strived to provide our friends and fans with an opportunity to escape. A place to dance and be entertained. A party built on the idea of unabashed self-expression. Whether you were giving or receiving attention, you were a necessary part of the GlitterBomb experience.
We're grateful for the venues - owners, management, and staff - who's (often hard-earned) agreement to let us do our thing allowed the party to continue all this time. While we didn't always see eye-to-eye with the powers that be, we recognize how fortunate we were to have new doors open to us when others sadly closed.
U * CAN * DANCE!! led the way for GlitterBomb, and we're happy that so many of you came out last Friday for our final UCD!! This was definitively the final GB event, but not the end of q***r party life in St. Louis. Just as each end and beginning presented us with new challenges and opportunites, we hope that lowering the GlitterBomb flag will challenge those of you interested and involved in STL nightlife to keep the party going and create new opportunities for fun. We were in our early 20's and learning as we went when this all started more than a decade ago.. look at yourself and your friends and consider if that could be you now.
Once more: Thank You for coming out to play with us. It's been truly magical!
With much love,
Siren & Charlie Buttons
