Something scrumptious this way comes…

Soon to arrive on the menu: beef and pork meatballs on a grilled and buttered ciabatta, and the Bar None: an herbaceous, minty, umami drink with all of the flair and none of the alcohol.

Someone help me come up with a name for non-alcoholic drinks that doesn’t sound reductive! “Mocktail” sounds like a wannabe. “Kiddie cocktail” sounds illegal. What’s that F.R David song, “words.. don’t come easy.. to me..”

If I confess something, do you promise not to hate me? We read and we don’t judge. I got too ambitious with our experimentations for the menu update and now the plumbing in the kitchen is Mad At Me. We have an emergency repair happening later tonight and the kitchen should be back in fighting shape just in time for Sunday dinner! In the meantime, it will be closed for tonight. Silver lining though: our new bacon fat-washed coffee infused bourbon cocktail tastes great! Okay say hi to the kids for me, love you, bye
