For over 30 years Michael Moss has taken his love for trees and carved thousands of boxes from different driftwood sources around the United States. Formerly based in the Northwest, Moss had booths in markets in and around Seattle where he would sell his art, driftwood carvings, and ornamental hand carved boxes and is now based in the Southeast. Moss finds himself collecting driftwood off of Lake

Norris and the surrounding waterways and carving some of the most unique wood sculptures and boxes out of it and showcasing his work at different trade shows around the Tennessee region. The preservation of the wood and the ornate styles of compartments make these boxes truly art.
