I know there was a lot of discussion and emotion, at yesterday’s County Commission meeting regarding our animal shelter. One thing that has never been uncertain is my commitment to our community and to supporting local organizations that make a difference.

Last year, I was proud to host a Poker Run that benefited POPS (Pals of Pooches), a local nonprofit that works closely with our animal shelter and helps care for the animals that depend on us. It was great to see our community come together for such an important cause.

I’m excited to announce that this year’s Poker Run benefiting POPS will take place on Saturday, July 18. This event is another opportunity for us to support the shelter, raise awareness, and help provide resources for the animals in our community.

More details will be posted as we get closer to the event date. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our local animal shelter, POPS, and the volunteers who work tirelessly to care for these animals.

Together, we can make a difference.

🎯 Monday Night Darts Recap !

We had 16 players and 8 teams, but these two proved they were a force to be reckoned with. Congratulations to Sharp Shooter Travis and Mami Ann , who were absolutely unstoppable tonight and fought their way to the top!

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it another great night of darts, cold beer, and good company at 1938 Social.

First of all, we would like to thank the Man Upstairs for giving us great weather, clearing the skies, and keeping everyone safe throughout the day. It was truly a blessing to come together for such a great cause and enjoy an amazing ride.

Secondly, we want to thank every single person who showed up, donated, volunteered, and participated in the run. It was great seeing so many familiar faces along with plenty of new ones. Your support means the world to us, and we couldn’t do events like this without you.

Thanks to all of you, we were able to raise approximately $800 for the YMCA Special Warriors Program, helping support local athletes and the incredible opportunities this program provides. Every dollar raised goes a long way toward making a difference in the lives of these amazing individuals.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated prizes, hosted stops, and helped make this event a success. Most importantly, thank you to every rider and driver who came out and supported the cause.

Good morning, everyone!

Due to preparations for the Poker Run, we will not be opening today until 2:00 PM.

We’ll be open from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with live music starting at 6:00 PM and the Stockham BBQ food truck on site serving up great food.

We’re also excited to have a special guest behind the bar today! We can’t wait to serve you all and get social.

🎉 It’s Friday and the weekend is finally here! 🎉

We’re open today from 2 PM - 11 PM with Happy Hour from 3 PM - 6 PM, featuring $1 off drafts and bottled beers.

We’d also like to remind everyone that we are officially 24 hours away from our Special Warriors Poker Run! This is a rain or shine event, and ALL vehicles are welcome. You don’t need to own a Jeep or motorcycle to be part of this great cause. Cars, trucks, classics, Slingshots, and motorcycles we welcome them all!

We’ve all seen the forecast calling for scattered showers, but don’t let that stop you from having a great time. Current forecasts show conditions improving as the morning goes on, and regardless of the weather, we’re riding and supporting our local Special Warriors athletes.

📍 Registration: Sparta YMCA
⏰ 10 AM - 11 AM
💲 $20 per vehicle/motorcycle
💲 $10 per rider

All proceeds benefit the Special Warriors Program at the YMCA.

Another solid Thursday night here at 1938 Social! 🎯🍻

We had 12 players and 6 teams battle it out in our blind draw Wild Cricket tournament, but these two rose above the competition and took home the victory!

🏆 Congratulations to our Thursday Night Wild Cricket Champions! 🏆

Great darts, clutch shots, and a well-earned win. Thank you to everyone who came out, threw darts, enjoyed some cold beers, and helped make it another fun night at The Social.
