Hi everyone! I am running as a write-in Candidate for Southbridge School Committee in the race for a 1-year term. I am asking for your write-in vote on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. I believe that the Southbridge School Committee has some really great and dedicated members that are invested in making the school system a better place in order for the State to return the school system back to the town.
When I heard that there was no one running for the 1-year seat, I made the decision to become involved. It has always been a passion of mine to give back to the community in which I grew up in and make investments in the future of our youth.
My Father was a Math Teacher for over 30 years at Southbridge High School. He was a Coach and led the Southbridge Pioneerettes to State Championship in the 1970's. He also coached Cross Country, was a referee for Basketball, and taught night school. He taught me to always do everything well and provided us with a toolkit to be responsible and successful adults in life.
My children, my siblings, relatives, and I have all attended the Southbridge school system. My youngest was in band and I took part in many band events over the years and also PTA. I also have the Southbridge Public Schools Parents page of which I admin and have since its inception in 2013. The page provides valuable information to Parents for all School related events.
With almost 25 years working in the Information Technology field, I have the analytical mindset and critical thinking skills to provide the resources to tackle issues in an organized and structured manner. I also have years of Project Management experience, and I believe that my skillset will make me a great addition to a growing and strong team of School Committee members.
I am asking for your vote and I appreciate your consideration.
