Orientations Within a Gendered Framework

Hetero – Attracted to a different gender

Hetero, Le***an, Gay, Bi, and Pan can describe attraction broadly or be applied to specific types of attraction such as s*xual, romantic, sensual, or aesthetic.

As*xual (Ace) and Aromantic (Aro) may be used as standalone identities or combined with gendered terms to differentiate the directionality of various types of attraction.

Note that the circles represent the Gender Spectrum without any genders specifically labeled so as to make space for the expansive ways people relate to gender including fluid, fluctuating, nonbinary, and agender experiences as well as the nuances of identity, expression, presentation, s*x, and cultural context.
