🏳️‍⚧️ HAPPY PRIDE MONTH, FAM 🏳️‍🌈

We are so excited to kick-off the month with a fabulous celebration of friends and community. ❤️‍🔥 June 1 coincides with our , so we'll be screening PACE: LGBTQ Advocacy of NW Louisiana’s documentary Closet2Pride: Memoirs of Shreveport.

This film premiered at PACE’s OUTnorthLa Film Festival on March 2, 2024, at the Robinson Film Center. It features our owner, Jason McDonald, as well as many other prominent LGBTQ+ folks in the area.

We will also have LOUISIANA DESERVES BETTER set up outside from 4-8 pm collecting signatures for the RECALL GOV. LANDRY PETITION 👏 If you haven’t signed yet, this is the time. Make sure to bring a valid ID and your voter registration.

Everyone’s favorite benefit drag show is back — NEXT SATURDAY IS TURNABOUT!

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

It’s time to live, laugh, love as our community of creatures come together to bring you an unforgettable night of drag.

But what is Turnabout? Simply put: It’s when our friends and patrons who don’t normally do drag or perform, do. And that includes our owner, Jason McDonald aka Porquetta Von Chops, formally known as Tiny Swallows. 😂 She always give a stunning show!

It’s all in good fun, and it’s all for our community. We’ll be raising money for three different local organizations including:

🧛 THE VAMPYRE COURT OF SHREVEPORT
🪷 LOTUS
👚 OUT OF THE CLOSET

This year there will be a $10 suggested donation at the door. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. We really want the community to come out and support this as we are celebrating our 75th year open in downtown Shreveport.
