Colton's Weekly Pairing: Black Works Killer Bee and Toki Suntory Whisky.
This pairing creates a fascinating study in "complementary contrasts." The Killer Bee is a powerhouse of spice and intensity, while Japanese whiskies are celebrated for their precision, floral notes, and subtle oak. The Killer Bee has a subtle, natural sweetness that emerges through the heavy earth and spice. Both Toki and Hibiki share a prominent honeyed malt profile. This creates a "bridge" between the two, allowing the whisky to highlight the cigar's sweeter undertones that might otherwise be masked by the pepper.

Both components share a heavy backbone of honey and vanilla. The bourbon’s caramel sweetness amplifies the "milk tea" and toffee notes of the Sumatran leaf, making the smoke feel richer and creamier on the palate.
