If you’ve been here a while, or you’ve just found us… welcome to Karoo Café.

A few things you might not know about us.

1.) We’re tucked inside the historic Butterworth Building, just off Pike Place Market. The space has a story long before we ever arrived, and you can feel it when you walk in.

2.) Karoo is inspired by South Africa. The name, the flavours, the feeling. It’s warm, layered, and a little bit unexpected.

3.) Our founder Olivia is South African, and this space is her way of bringing a piece of home to Seattle.

4.) What starts as coffee by day slowly turns into something else at night. Cocktails, music, conversation. The kind of place you come for one and stay for a few.

5.) And more than anything, it’s about the people who walk through the door. That’s what makes it what it is. We love our Karoo family!
