We have been doing Phone Free Wednesdays for a couple of months and it's been a huge hit. It got so popular that the Seattle Times came to check it out and then reached out to do an article about this idea with us featured along with a couple of other spots that you ditch the screen for. Life On Mars is a Plant-Based Vegan bar located on Capitol Hill in Seattle that offers a vegan brunch, dinner and a full menu of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, beer and wine.

The loss of Dolly Parton is just heart breaking. There's of course the endless hits that she made, but that's only part of the story. She did so much for women in a time when that wasn't easy. She also gave away 1/2 a billion dollars through her Dollywood Foundation. We will pay respect the best way we know and that's playing all Dolly from 4-11. We will also re-create from her cookbook and have on special the Dirt Road Martini. We will always love you Dolly.

It's Taco Tuesday at Life On Mars. Come get some of the best plant based tacos you've had today. They are available all the days, but they taste better on Tuesdays. They also taste better when it's hot out and you're inside with the air conditioning on. 3 Tacos with Gardein fried fish, avocado, creamy lime coleslaw, Sriracha aioli, cilantro on corn tortillas. Yum.

We are closed on Monday. World Cup is over. It’s hot out. The staff deserve a break. So we close, we find inner tubes, a body of water and we hope everyone returns on Tuesday.

A shout out to our staff. A lot of whom have worked here for years and care deeply for the space, the service and the community. We are so lucky to have this family. Come by this week and tell them the same thing.

Well the World Cup is wrapping up and it's been a whirlwind here in Seattle. There's two more games left and then it's done. Saturday is the consolation game with France vs England at 2 pm. Then Sunday at noon is the championship game with the 2 best teams coming into WC are playing, with Argentina and Spain. You'll want to think about where you were when you saw the soccer GOAT's final WC game. Join us at LOM.

World Cup is just about over. We are at the quarter finals. Tomorrow we have Norway vs England at 2 pm and then Argentina and possibly the last time we see Messi on the big stage vs Switzerland at 6 pm. Get your fix as there's only a few more games.
