After three years at what she lovingly calls Baker’s Bar and Grill Olive is taking a bit of a hiatus. Here’s an announcement from her:

“Hey yall, I’ve received an awesome opportunity to finish out the summer season on Orcas Island that I simply couldn’t pass up. It’s been such a pleasure to be a part of the Baker’s community, and I’m so grateful for the friends I’ve made along the way. This lil bar has been such an amazing place where I’ve learned countless lessons and has seen me through so many seasons. If you’d like to come bid me farewell, I’ll be working Wednesday - Friday this week! And if you find yourself on the island, come see me at Matia kitchen!”

Our awesome team Jillian, Melissa, Kyle, and Nick will be holding down the fort in her absence, so rest assured the ol’ Baker’s razzle dazzle lives on!!

New food who dis!? Come check out some new menu items… here are a couple hits we think you’ll love!

BBQ Pulled Pork Sando: slow braised pork and pickled pineapple slaw on a tall grass bakery brioche bun. Served with chips or a salad!

Buratta: heirloom tomato, basil, balsamic, olive oil, and lava salt served with baguette toast or made into a sandwich!

Not featured: Pan con Tomate, a Big Green Salad, and that delicious Spanish Tortilla you’ve seen in our previous post!

Speaking of specials…
Look at this banging Spanish tortilla! Think of it like a fritata’s hot cousin but with poached butternut squash, onion, and lemon paprika aioli. $12 and Available while it lasts!

It’s now happy hour EVERY DAY from 4-6pm!

We are ecstatic to tell you the time has FINALLY come! With your continued support, Baker’s is open with Molly’s Bottle Shop at the helm! What a ride it has been!!

The amazing crew that you know and love is sticking around, so you’ll see our familiar faces while sipping on our signature cocktails. Not much is changing for now, but we are excited to slowly but surely roll out new menu items and even host some events!

Rest assured the Baker’s spirit is alive and well! We can’t wait to share this next chapter with our amazing friends and neighbors. Thank you so much for your continuing support, we are nothing without this incredible community.

If you would like to donate to our efforts to fund repairs, improvements, and give us a small cushion to make the first year sustainable a link is in our bio. We are so humbled to have received so much support so far!
