Ok Amperfam. We are (once again) very happy to say that The Savannah Sweet Tease Burlesque R***e and The House of Gunt, along with some of your fav DJs, will be making regular appearances at Club One. There is NO COVER at Club One for the rest of the month (unless you want to see a show, then there is a cover) so go over and keep the party going! We'll see you on the dance floor!

Today’s festivities will feature two of the bar’s original DJs going back-to-back on the first floor, along with House of Gunt performing on the second floor. Saturday will feature resident DJ RudyLui on the first floor and Daas Unterground on the second floor.

Downtown watering hole Ampersand will close its doors this weekend after nearly three years in business.

“A lot of people say Ampersand wasn’t a bar, but a culture,” says Reese. “We definitely tried to open a space where people felt safe to do stuff a little differently and accept everybody from all walks of life. It was a safe place to go. We were around almost three years to give the community that space, and we appreciate all people who have been our patrons. Thanks, Savannah.”

THURSDAY: DOLLAR WELLS 'TIL 1AM

DJ Cleaveland, one of our favorite resident DJs will be preforming his last Amperset on the first floor bring the hottest dance music til 3am!

On our second floor DJ Dirty D, Desmond Lewis, will be hosting our last karaoke night starting at 10:30pm. This will be a CONTEST.... Sign up, compete against other people and the winner will receive a bar tab for the night!

Were throwing it back a couple years! We've missed them, and we're sure you all have too! Thats right! We will be bringing back DJ C-ROK and DJ Pieces going B2B for ONE CRAZY reunion AMPERSTYLE. Put on your party pants, wear your dance shoes... its time to get down!

With heavy hearts and sincere appreciation we must announce that our owners have sold our building and the new owners are not resigning our lease. We will be closing our doors July 30th, 2016. No matter how disheartening, we are choosing to use our last few weeks as a toast to all of you; to appreciate and celebrate the “Amperfam” that has come to fruition through the past 2 ½ years of amazing patronage towards our crazy weekend dance parties, special events, consistent dinner service and Sunday brunches.

There are so many people we want to thank for making Ampersand such an enormous success that we almost don't even know where to begin... We have had so many amazing DJs that have kept the party bumping throughout the years: Pieces and C-Rok, Leo, Rudy Lui, Alta, Cleveland, and the whole Daas Unterground crew. It is because of all of you that we were voted Best Dance Club this year by Connect, and we couldn't be more proud.

We'd also like to extend our gratitude toward the numerous other artists, musicians, performers and hosts: James Lee Smith, Savannah Stage Company, The Savannah Sweet Tease, House of Gunt, Dirty D Karaoke, Brian Stafford, Ben Lewis and Emily Kenyon for making Ampersand the most diverse venue in downtown Savannah.

All else aside, a tremendous thank you goes out to every single one of our customers for supporting us through it all. SCAD students, you truly are the heart and soul of what we do; it is because of every single one of you that we were voted Best College Bar. You work hard and party harder, and we love you all for it. We honestly couldn't have done any of this without you tearing up the dance floor and keeping the parties going Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Our hours have changed in preparation for our closure however we will remain open Thursday through Sunday from 5 p.m. - 3 a.m. In the weeks to come you can expect some great drink specials and crazy blowout parties honoring all of you, everything we have accomplished and all that we have created together. This is the grand finale and we invite everyone to come and celebrate with us; see you all on the dance floor!
