Hello! The wake for China Smith Sr., also known as China Doll, will be held at Pathway Christian Fellowship, 329 6th Ave W, Bradenton, FL 34205. The funeral will take place on Saturday, August 17th, at 11:00 a.m. at Truvine Missionary Baptist Church, 1947 31st St, Sarasota, FL 34234. There will also be a fish fry on August 16th at Townhall Restaurant and Lounge, 1970 Dr. Martin Luther King Way, Sarasota, FL 34234, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The arrangements are being handled by Chandler Funeral Home, located at 1425 Dr. Martin Luther King Way, Sarasota, FL 34234.

Good morning Town Hall restaurant & Lounge and the people of Newtown are 1! It has been brought to our attention that the Sarasota Police Department are telling people in the community that we are calling the police on them for certain situations. We want to apologize for their unprofessional behavior and to let you know that if they do this again, you guys can have someone approach us in the act and we will clarify that we did not. They also told us that the housed we own across the street calls the police on the Town Hall which is crazy. We love the people in Newtown and we also love seeing you guys out and enjoying our community having fun! We have to stick together as one if anyone knows someone, that has a situation going on where the police told you that Townhall called on you if you can, please reach out to us or one of our family members and do whatever is needed to resolve the situation. We kiss their A*z but we don’t call the police on anyone! Happy weekend folks! God bless you and have a great day.
